More progress today. They finished framing for the AC system, the door that connects the basement to the studio and the stairs.

AC & Heating

The AC & Heating has started and hopefully they will be done tomorrow, so we can have wall inspection by Tuesday or Wednesday.

New opening from house to studio

I took a lot of work to break from the old house to the new studio space.

I am falling more in love with this house. Can't wait to have a party.

The new siding looks great. We will paint it white to match the old house.

These two windows are design to let in light not the view.

French Doors

With the installation of the basement french doors, the addition is finally sealed.

Powder Room

They broke into the old house to build the powder room and a kitchen pantry.

With the windows installed, the room feels more like a "real room".

These are the kitchen windows. One of them is right at countertop height, the other is on top of the cabinets.

These are the new Andersen windows next to the fireplace.

They are very large and only 18 inches from the floor.

Fireplace

The fireplace is framed.

I changed my mind on the fireplace. I found a better, larger, more powerful fireplace.

I decide to go with the 52" instead of the 42".

The old insulation

This is the insulation we found on the other side of the 1949 bathroom.

Electrical

The electrical is almost done.

Window Wells

Three window wells outside of my studio are done. JD made them out of 6x6 wood. It looks very nice.
